Position Overview
The Executive, Talent Acquisition & Development will support the end-to-end recruitment function and assist with internal training coordination during a critical scaling period. This role offers hands-on exposure to both talent acquisition and employee development in a fast-paced SME environment.You will work closely with the department heads to attract talent, onboard new hires, and coordinate learning opportunities for our internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Support- Support full-cycle recruitment from job posting, resume screening, and interview scheduling through to onboarding and probation follow-up
- Utilize job boards, social media, community networks, and outreach channels to source candidates, with emphasis on inclusive hiring from lower-income and non-traditional backgrounds
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers across Acestes and subsidiary entities
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking and documentation in HRIS/ATS systems to support audit readiness and proper running of the HR department
- Assist in optimizing recruitment workflows and exploring AI-powered tools to improve sourcing and screening efficiency
- Coordinate internal onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring they understand Acestes' mission, operational standards, and compliance requirements
- Maintain internal training calendars and coordinate with internal trainers or external providers to schedule skills and compliance programs for staff
- Track and update individual training records, ensuring staff meet certification requirements (e.g., licensing, workplace safety, PWM upskilling)
- Support the administration of SkillsFuture and government-funded training grants (e.g., SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit, WSG programs)
- Gather post-training feedback and assist in evaluating training effectiveness
- Liaise with department heads to understand hiring needs and training gaps
- Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Support HR compliance activities including Employment Act, MOM regulations, CPF requirements, and PWM grant conditions
- Assist in preparing workforce documentation for audits, grant applications, and social enterprise reporting
- Represent Acestes at job fairs, community events, and partnership networking functions as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in recruitment, HR administration, training coordination, or customer-facing roles; fresh graduates with strong aptitude and passion for HR are encouraged to apply
- Good organizational skills with ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS or ATS systems is an advantage
- Basic understanding of Singapore employment practices and MOM regulations
- Genuine interest in social impact and inclusive employment practices
Preferred:
- Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, or training coordination in any capacity (internships, part-time, project-based)
- Familiarity with government support schemes for hiring and training
- Background in community engagement, social services, or volunteer coordination
- Comfortable with technology and eager to learn AI/automation tools for HR productivity
