Network and Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud network environments
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices
- Monitor network performance and ensure smooth operations at project sites
- Prepare for commissioning, decommissioning, and technology refresh activities for network devices
- Perform preventive maintenance, patching, and firmware upgrades
- Monitor and respond to cyber security threats and incidents
- Manage security tools such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and XDR
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and incident reports
- Support implementation of cyber security controls for cloud and on-premises environments
- Support deployment of new security solutions and infrastructure enhancements
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, government agencies, and project stakeholders
- Provide support and maintenance for network infrastructure and end users
- Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field
- Experience in network and cyber security operations
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, and firewall technologies
- Familiarity with security tools such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and XDR is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
