Payroll Executive (Government Setting, 1 year) - Toa Payoh

Job Scope:

• Handle payroll and claims for multiple government agencies using the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Process payroll, including salaries, annual increments, bonuses, AWS, allowances, and statutory contributions.
• Manage payroll for exit cases, including scenarios involving unpaid leave.
• Ensure all payroll transactions are properly certified and approved prior to processing.
• Verify and obtain supervisor approval for all payment transactions before disbursement.
• Prepare billing for seconded officers across various government agencies.
• Perform manual calculations for overpayment cases and ensure timely recovery actions.
• Process journals and payment vouchers in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Exercise independent judgment and provide recommendations in line with SOPs when addressing service partner inquiries.
• Deliver prompt and professional customer service to service partners, resolving queries efficiently.
• Conduct reviews of work processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of Payroll or Claims processing experience is preferred.
• Candidates without relevant experience but possess good attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply
• Preferred Course of Studies in Business Administration or Human Resource or Accountancy or Finance
• Good attention to detail
