Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Operations & Facilities Manager to lead the set up of a new business unit in IFM. As the first hire in this division, you will be responsible for evaluating market needs, recommending service offerings, building operational frameworks, and managing service delivery.

This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to help shape the direction of our new business line from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Business Planning - Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify high-potential soft services (e.g. cleaning, pest control, hygiene, landscaping, etc.) suitable for the company to offer.
  • Define Service Strategy - Recommend and develop a service portfolio that aligns with business goals, customer demand, and operational capabilities.
  • Set up Operations - Design processes, SOPs, and service standards for initial service offerings; ensure readiness for delivery and compliance.
  • Pilot & Execute - Launch services with pilot clients, manage day-to-day operations, and oversee service quality and efficiency.
  • Vendor & Workforce Planning - Identify vendor partnerships or manpower needs, and build scalable operational structures.
  • Support Business Development - Collaborate with the management team to respond to client enquiries, prepare proposals, and secure contracts.
  • Performance & Cost Management - Monitor KPIs, track performance, manage budgets, and drive cost-effective operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all services adhere to local safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Team Leadership - As the business grows, recruit and lead a team to support operational delivery and client management.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience in IFM, ideally with exposure to multiple service areas.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a business from scratch.
  • Operational know-how and comfort with both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Experience working with vendors, contracts, and service delivery teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
