Senior/ Business Analyst (Banking, Global Markets)

• Adecco is partnering with a leading global bank to look for a Business Analyst.
• The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and translating business requirements, driving governance and reporting initiatives, and leveraging data analytics, AI, and cross-functional collaboration to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

The Talent

• Proven experience in a Business Analyst or related role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Solid analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Understanding of AI technologies and hands-on experience with AI-enabled tools such as Copilot for analytics or process automation.
• Experience within Financial Services, particularly Investment Banking or Global Markets Operations.
• Familiarity with SharePoint workflows and document management systems.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance, risk, and change management frameworks.

• Engage stakeholders through meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
• Convert business needs into clear functional specifications, process documentation, and user stories for technology and project teams.
• Analyze large data sets and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and senior leadership.
• Support the creation of governance reports, operational scorecards, and performance tracking materials.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, monitor deliverables, and uphold quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance policies, risk controls, and change management frameworks.
• Prepare presentation materials, meeting minutes, and follow up on action items and project updates.
• Maintain and support governance-related tools, reporting infrastructure, and documentation repositories.
• Utilize AI-powered tools and automation technologies to improve reporting efficiency, analytics, and business processes.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and partner with technology teams on implementation initiatives.
• Coordinate and support testing activities to validate that business requirements and solutions are successfully delivered.
• Assist with project planning, issue management, risk tracking, and resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
