AFF is a Singapore-based flavour house creating the full spectrum of flavour categories for food and beverage manufacturers across Asia Pacific. We serve customers in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Australia, and beyond.
The role
Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA/QC Executive holds day-to-day quality oversight of our Senoko manufacturing operations. You will be the line of sight between our raw materials, our production floor, and our customers, making sure every batch that leaves our facility meets the standards our customers and regulators expect.
What you'll be responsible for- Incoming raw material inspection, in-process quality checks, and finished product release testing
- Maintaining GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 compliance across the manufacturing site
- Managing Certificates of Analysis, batch records, retention samples, and traceability documentation
- Overseeing water quality testing, allergen control, and microbiological monitoring
- Investigating non-conformances and customer complaints, and driving corrective and preventive actions through to closure
- Supporting internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections (SFA, MUIS, and overseas halal authorities where relevant)
- Liaising with R&D and Production to qualify new raw materials and approve specification changes
- Maintaining calibration and verification records for laboratory and production equipment
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline
- 2 to 4 years of QA/QC experience in food, beverage, flavour, or fragrance manufacturing
- Working knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, and Singapore food safety regulations
- Comfort with basic analytical lab work (titration, pH, refractometry, microbiological plating); GC or HPLC exposure is a plus
- Familiarity with halal compliance frameworks is highly valued
- Strong written documentation discipline and comfort with batch records, SOPs, and audit trails
- Calm, methodical, and detail-oriented when production pressure is high
