Junior Graphic Designer

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Develop creative concepts and designs for a wide range of marketing and promotional materials, including digital and print media, social media graphics, website elements, event banners, merchandise and more.
2. Create original illustrations and hand-drawn elements for various projects, ensuring they align with the brand’s aesthetic and enhance the overall visual impact.
3. Ensure all designs are consistent with the company’s branding guidelines and convey the desired message to the target audience.
4. Work closely with marketing team to understand requirements and deliver designs that meet objectives.
5. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
6. Create engaging visual content for social media platforms, newsletters, and other digital channels.
7. Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders, revising designs as necessary.
8. Keep up with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our visual content remains innovative and competitive.
9. Assist in other ad-hoc duties, as and when assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. At least 1 year of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in the edutainment, entertainment, or retail industry.
2. Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work, including digital and print media, with examples of original illustrations and hand-drawn work.
3. Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
4. Strong attention to detail and a passion for design.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing requirements.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. A strong creative vision with an understanding of how to design for different audiences.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.

Technical Competencies:

1. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
2. Experience with video editing and animation software is a plus.
