About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join the fast-paced and dynamic accounting team at Lo Hock Ling & Co, a reputable accountancy firm based in the Central Region. As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services to our diverse range of clientele.This full-time position offers the chance to work on challenging and rewarding projects while developing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing- Supervising and leading audit teams to ensure the successful completion of audit engagements
- Reviewing audit work and providing guidance to more junior team members
- Identifying and addressing audit risks and issues, and communicating these to clients in a clear and professional manner
- Preparing and reviewing audit reports, financial statements, and other audit-related documentation
- Collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
- Contributing to the development and implementation of audit methodologies and procedures
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in external audit, preferably within a reputable accounting firm
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CPA)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify key issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Proficient in the use of audit software and other relevant technology
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to mentor and develop more junior team members
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service
