Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of progressive stamping dies to ensure optimal performance and production readiness.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to maintain die reliability, consistency, and extended tool life.
- Conduct die fitting, polishing, grinding, and replacement of worn or damaged components in accordance with specifications.
- Support die setup, testing, and on‑line production troubleshooting to minimize downtime during production runs.
- Work closely with engineers and production personnel to identify root causes of stamping issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation while complying with safety regulations and workplace 5S standards.
- NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in stamping die maintenance
- Solid experience with progressive dies and high-speed stamping operations
- Proficient in die fitting, polishing, grinding, and assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and effectively use measuring instruments
- Strong team player with positive attitude, good work discipline, and willingness to continuously learn and improve
- Able to perform 3 rotating shifts
