BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager to manage our Real Estate Finance customer portfolio. The incumbent will report to the Head of Real Estate Finance Department and will be responsible for marketing, business development, relationship management and risk management for new and existing customers in APAC Real Estate sectors mainly in Australia and Singapore.He/she will be responsible for the origination and distribution of deals with corporate clients and financial institutions in the region for both corporate and structured finance transactions. He/she is required to perform credit evaluation which includes preparation of credit proposals, credit applications, reviews and reports in both English and Japanese for submission to the Head Office.
He/she will also need to manage and strengthen customer relationships and portfolio risk management.
Applicants should possess a degree in Economics, Accountancy or Business Administration with about 5 years' experience in corporate banking in real estate finance sectors. The incumbent needs to be familiar and have a good understanding of the business culture and process of Japanese organizations.The nature of the job will require he/she to be highly proficient in the Japanese Language, both spoken and written as there will be regular communication with the Japanese clients and the Head Office in Japan. He/she must also possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Overseas travel may be required.
Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
