Staff Nurse (Daycare)

As a Staff Nurse (Daycare Setting), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible in providing cost-effective care in accordance to policies and procedures.
• Complies with approved standards of nursing practices.
• Responsible for assessing the needs and delivery of quality geriatric and dementia nursing care to clients.
• Perform pre-assessment of new clients.
• Administer documents to be submitted to government body.
• Assessing and coordinating with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate clients' conditions.
• Monitor and assess clients' progression and implementing care plan.
• Providing health promotion and counseling to clients and families.
• Performing nursing care such as mediation administration and wound dressing.
• Overseeing and managing the performances of the nursing team or care staffs.
• Coordinating, implementing and monitoring clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement plan
• Perform CPR, AED and first aid to clients and plays an active role in emergency situations.
• Assist and support delivery of health promotion activities in the Centre.
• Participates in infection control campaign activities.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by Senior Nurse Manager.
• Participates in training and development of care staff.
• Other duties assigned by Senior Nurse Manager or Center In-Charge.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Nursing
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Candidate who possess Advanced Diploma is an advantage
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in inpatient ward
