IT Business Analyst (Banking / Technology)

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to support delivery of technology solutions within a banking environment. This role involves working with business and technical teams to define system requirements, support implementation, and ensure alignment across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document functional and technical requirements for systems and applications
Translate business needs into detailed specifications, user stories, process flows, and data mappings
Work with developers and architects on system design, integrations, and interfaces
Support delivery across SDLC phases including testing (SIT/UAT), defect tracking, and deployment
Analyse business processes and map them to system capabilities
Track changes and ensure requirements are aligned with delivered solutions

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
Experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting system implementation or software development projects within a banking or financial services environment
Understanding of banking systems, applications, and technology platforms
Ability to produce technical documentation (functional specifications, workflows, data flows, interface mappings)
Familiar with SDLC methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices, using tools such as Jira or Confluence
Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams (developers, QA, architects)
