Work location: West side polyclinics
Job Responsibilities:
- Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
- Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
- Perform billing functions
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
- Ensure stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
- Perform topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
- Ensure correct receiving of goods
- Secondary repackaging/redressing
- Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs
- Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- Possess Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science OR Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
- Relevant experience with dispensing of medication in outpatient settings will be a strong advantage
