Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Admin and Accounts Assistant to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support and assist with basic accounting tasks, with a focus on serving our Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in administration and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily administrative tasks, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and maintaining office supplies.
- Help prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable functions by ensuring timely processing of transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist with account reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors in Mandarin to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Perform filing and documentation for both administrative and accounting functions.
- Support the finance team with any additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin and English is essential.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-oriented attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in an administrative or accounting role is an advantage but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software and systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
