Business development director

The opportunity

As the Business Development Director , you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and expansion into new markets. This full-time position, will see you leading the strategic development of new business opportunities that align with the company's mission and values.

• Identify and pursue new business prospects in alignment with the company's strategic objectives
• Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to acquire new clients and partners
• Negotiate and close deals, ensuring the successful implementation of new business initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
• Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on the progress of new business development efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new initiatives
• Mentor and guide the sales and business development team to achieve their targets

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in new business development, preferably within the food and beverage industry
• Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and identify untapped markets
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to support business growth
• Hands-on experience in managing and mentoring a team of sales and business development professionals
• Familiarity with the food and beverage industry landscape in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region
