The Role
We are looking for an energetic, highly organised, and results-driven individual to join the Marketing Brand team and lead initiatives in Product Marketing and Financial Planning. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, particularly in investments, along with a solid understanding of how these products align with the broader financial planning framework.In this role, you will be responsible for executing marketing strategies and campaigns in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, while strengthening the brand perception for both DBS and POSB. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be passionate about solving customer challenges, and excel at navigating diverse product landscapes while managing and balancing multiple project timelines.
What you will be responsible for:
Campaign Strategy & Execution- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans with a clear strategy and approach for all investment product launches and campaigns, including digiPortfolio, Unit Trusts, Invest-Saver, and Vickers ensuring alignment with the overall Financial Planning framework.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, financial planning & financial literacy teams, creative teams, and external agencies, to ensure campaigns align with business goals, marketing objectives, and brand guidelines.
- Develop clear and compelling product and marketing positioning that differentiates our offerings in the market, specifically for Investment under Financial Planning. Create targeted value propositions and key messages for specific audiences and segments. Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing and communication channels, including owned, earned, and paid media.
- Proficient in leveraging tools like GenAI, DBS ChatGPT, Canva, and NotebookLLM to support creative and communications work, including generating social media posts and amplifying content articles for Investment and Financial Planning.
- Lead experiments to test and validate hypotheses, optimising creative and media execution. Skilled in planning and executing campaigns to enhance product/brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
- Ensure all communications adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. Ensure consistent brand governance across all marketing communications while effectively managing budgets and expenditures. Track and report on advertising and promotion (A&P) to ensure optimal allocation and performance.
- Skilled in measuring and analysing campaign performance using clear tracking metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimise results in collaboration with the performance marketing team and media agency.
- Maintain a focus on KPIs such as brand awareness, web traffic, lead generation, conversions, and customer retention.
- Capable of providing regular reports and insights to senior management, while continuously refining marketing strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, at least 6 years of experience in marketing or communications for consumer products. Knowledge of banking and investment products will be advantageous
- Possess a growth mindset in driving business to the next level.
- Independent and positive in outlook, never shying away from challenges and taking ownership of tasks.
- Strong communication skills, including copywriting and presentation abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage expectations, meet deadlines, and coordinate with counterparts across internal stakeholders (in-house creative team, product managers) under tight timelines and pressure.
- A good blend of creativity and execution excellence.
- Understanding of the principles of driving customer engagement through paid and owned channels and conversational commerce.
- An analytical and structured thinker with a strong affinity for critical thinking, hands-on execution, and problem-solving.
- Experienced in leading and working with advertising and media agencies.
