Deputy Construction Manager (Viaducts)
Hyundai Engineering & Construction Woodlands Full-time
Report to Construction Manager and lead the team/site works during his absence.
- Prepare & review detailed schedule for the site team to follow accordingly and for on-time completion
- Prepare & review detailed method statements and work instructions.
- Coordinate all related construction matters with subcontractor/consultant/client.
- Prepare & review company reports and documents
- Responsible & resolve technical and claim issues
- Assess subcontractors’ work activities against performance expectation
- Ensure compliance with quality, environment, health & safety requirements.
Job requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, inclusive of at least 3 years as Deputy Construction manager level, managing construction teams for complex vehicular structures and road projects of similar scale and complexity
- Candidate with LTA viaduct experience is preferred
- Well experienced in Bored piling, CBP, ERSS, RCBC Drain Box, Grouting, etc.
- Knowledgeable with various Utilities, M&E works
- Proficient in MS Office and knowledge on AutoCAD is at an advantage
- Attained trade certificate such as CSCPM/BCSS/Confined Space/Work at height
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, independent individual and possesses great initiatives
