Site Engineer (Construction)

About the role

As a Site Engineer (Construction), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects. This full-time position will see you working on-site, ensuring the project plans are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

1. Interpreting and implementing construction plans and designs
2. Monitoring and coordinating the work of construction teams and subcontractors
3. Conducting site inspections and identifying and resolving any issues that arise
4. Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
5. Maintaining detailed records and reporting on project progress
6. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders

1. Recognised degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry
3. Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control processes
4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills
5. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
7. Proficiency in using relevant software and digital tools
