Software Quality Engineer - Geylang

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, maintaining, and updating test cases and test plans in line with evolving requirements and policies
• Conducting performance and security testing
• Working with Java-based systems
• Building, maintaining, and enhancing automated test frameworks and environments
• Testing new features and logging defects
• Performing various testing types: manual, functional, performance, exploratory, and supporting UATs
• Assisting in resolving production issues
• Participating actively in Agile ceremonies
• Leading and mentoring team members (if applicable)

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Infocomm discipline
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality testing and automation
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java
• Experience with API testing
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with TDD, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with open-source testing tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium, Selenium, Playwright)
• Exposure to enterprise testing tools (e.g., HP UFT, HP QC, Sprinter, HP Mobile Center)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust, HP LoadRunner)
• Familiarity with penetration testing tools (e.g., ZAP, Burp Suite, SQLMap, HP WebInspect, Nessus, CheckMarx)
• Experience working in Agile environments is a plus
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to deliver quality outcomes
