To support the planning, coordination, and execution of key educational events and initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery and promoting innovation within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Lead the planning and execution of conferences and workshops, focusing on every aspect from logistics to budgeting. You will liaise with speakers, sponsors, and vendors to ensure the event runs smoothly, managing everything from registrations to post-event evaluations.
Workshop Development:
- Design and deliver interactive workshops tailored for educators, students, and professionals in the healthcare field. Work closely with facilitators to develop and refine content, ensuring that the workshops meet high standards and are delivered efficiently within budget.
Innovation Competitions:
- Play a pivotal role in organizing a healthcare innovation competition. You will handle all aspects of event logistics, including scheduling and resource management, while also promoting the event to attract a diverse range of participants from the medical and healthcare fields.
Public Relations and Outreach:
- Develop and execute publicity strategies to enhance visibility and promote the activities. This includes creating compelling digital content for social media, newsletters, and websites, as well as tracking the success of these campaigns.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with academic institutions, healthcare organizations, and media outlets to support event promotion and outreach efforts.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with other tasks and projects as required by the organisation to help achieve its mission.
Specific Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in event planning, education, or healthcare settings is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in digital tools for event management, content creation, and analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
