Product Manager | Semiconductor MNC
We are seeking a commercially driven Product Management Manager with a strong technical background to lead product strategy and growth within the backend semiconductor market. This role is responsible for identifying market opportunities, shaping product roadmaps, and developing robust business cases in close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams.
A US-headquartered global semiconductor capital equipment company is a leading provider of back-end semiconductor assembly and packaging solutions. The company designs and manufactures equipment used in processes such as wire bonding, advanced packaging, and related automation technologies that are critical to semiconductor device production.
The Job- Identify and prioritize target markets, including key growth drivers, industry trends, and major players, with emphasis on emerging and pathfinding opportunities within the backend semiconductor space.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including timing, sizing, customer requirements, competitive landscape, and required investment levels, to build robust, data-driven business cases.
- Evaluate customer needs and competitor capabilities to inform the definition and ongoing refinement of product roadmaps.
- Set and drive product development objectives across cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to develop new products and enhance existing portfolio offerings.
- Support product marketing and sales enablement by developing clear, compelling materials that communicate product value propositions and competitive differentiation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- More than 5 years of Product Management experience, ideally within the semiconductor or capital equipment industry.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate long-term market and technology trends and translate them into actionable product roadmaps.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data to build compelling, data-driven business cases.
- Exposure to Automation and AI technologies is preferred.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders, communicate effectively, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong business acumen, combined with creativity and strategic thinking.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally SEA (approximately 10-15%).
