Operations Executive

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Operations Executive to focus on imports and exports related to container business globally. This role is crucial for all ISO Tank operations matters/documentations and liaising with external stakeholders. The candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager, Singapore.

Tasks, responsibilities, and competency:

• Managing imports and exports related to container business globally
• Responsible for all ISO Tank operations matters/documentations
• Liaise with agents, haulers, forwarders, customers and handle invoice, payment matters
• Controlling costs through continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate waste
• Providing leadership in a team environment to achieve organisational goals
• Analysing data and making recommendations to senior management regarding changes to improve efficiency or reduce costs
• Creating organisational structures and procedures to support new business initiatives or company growth
• Monitoring market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities for new products or services
• Developing strategic plans for an organisation’s overall operating goals and objectives
• Directing the work of subordinate managers and staff members to ensure that objectives are met
• Making strategic decisions based on current events in the industry, new legislation, technological advances, etc

Job requirements:

• Diploma’s degree in business, operations management, or related field
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Minimum 1-year experience in an operations management role
• Proven track record of successful process improvement and change management initiatives
• Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training, education, and experience
• Experience leading a team of operations managers
• Experience in a global organisation
• Working knowledge of in-house systems
• Project management certification
