Our Client is a renowned Japanese trading company seeking a Sales Executive responsible for driving the sales of Japanese alcoholic beverages (mainly sake) in Singapore. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
New Clients : Existing Clients = 70% : 30%Sales Region: Singapore
Products: Japanese sake, shochu, and other alcoholic beverages
Customers: Restaurants, hotels, and related businesses
【 Responsibilities 】- Oversee the sales of Japanese alcoholic products (including sake, shochu, and others) by targeting restaurants, hotels, and other business opportunities within Singapore.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product range and effectively communicate the advantages of the offerings to clients.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with key accounts in the foodservice sector to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities within the assigned geographic area or market segment.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor movements, and customer preferences to strategically position the company’s products in the market.
- Manage inquiries, sales, quotations, and other assigned tasks.
- Provide support to the physical store team as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist at physical locations by recommending sake to customers, answering questions about the products, and offering pairing suggestions.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

(Must)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in retail customer service or sales, preferably within a restaurant or similar environment.
- Genuine passion and enthusiasm for Japanese rice wine (sake) culture.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.
- Prior work experience in a Japanese company or familiarity with Japanese business culture.
