Marketing Assistant Manager - Singapore & Malaysia - Geylang
Job Brief
We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant Manager to drive brand management, marketing activations, and retail initiatives across Singapore and Malaysia. The role focuses on executing and aligning online and offline activities, delivering impactful brand campaigns, managing social media engagement, and ensuring strong brand presence across retail and digital touchpoints.
Job Responsibilities
Core - 80%- Marketing Activations & Campaigns
o Develop and execute brand activations, events, and integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline channels to support brand initiatives and meet business objectives.
o Measure, analyze and report on marketing performance to track ROI and provide actionable insights to improve results.- Brand Management
o Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across digital platforms, retail spaces, events, and all consumer touchpoints.
o Support the implementation of global/regional brand strategies, adapting to local specifics.- Social Media Management
o Develop and manage social media calendars, coordinate content with agencies, oversee daily engagement, and report on performance metrics.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, commercial team) to align content with campaigns and business priorities.- Visual Merchandising & Trade Marketing
o Oversee the design and execution of visual merchandising strategies for brand-owned showrooms and retailers’ stores.
o Execute visual merchandising updates and in-store marketing for trade partners and showrooms, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategies.
o Manage the execution of trade marketing initiatives including promotional planning, retail coordination, and brand activations.- Content & Collateral Development
- Marketing Operations
o Coordinate updates to the local websites, conduct regular audits and ensure content accuracy across platforms.
o Manage invoicing, vendor coordination, and general administration.
Satellite (Cross Functional Projects) - 20%
Requirements- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in brand management, activations, social media, or trade marketing roles.
- Strong social media skills, including content creation, community management, and performance tracking across key platforms.
- Proven ability to execute and align marketing strategies across both online and offline channels.
- Expertise in creating engaging content for both digital and print, with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
- Creative, resourceful, and highly organized, with excellent project management skills
- ● Proficiency with social media tools, content creation platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite), and analytics tools.
- Experience in developing and executing visual merchandising strategies and trade marketing activities enhancing brand visibility.
- Ability to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions, with a flexible, proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, along with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies or partners.
- Prior experience in consumer goods, lifestyle, retail, or home-related industries is preferred.
