Physical Commodity Trader (Cement / Coal) - Bukit Merah

Salling Search is proud to partner with an international dry bulk trading firm in search for a Physical Commodity Trader (Cement / Coal) to be based in Singapore.

Only candidates with the following experience and qualifications will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement and sales of dry bulk commodities across assigned markets, ensuring smooth trading operations.
• Build and grow relationships with key accounts and support business development initiatives to onboard new clients.
• Monitor market trends, gather insights from suppliers and customers, and provide inputs for forecasting and strategic planning.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• including logistics and documentation teams
• to ensure seamless execution.
• Support compliance, reporting, and data analysis to aid in decision-making and drive operational improvements.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Trade, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in commodity or dry bulk trading; knowledge of cementitious or coal products is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Proactive, adaptable team player comfortable in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
