Product Owner - Private Banking Systems

Role Summary

This is a non–front office role and requires strong collaboration across technology and business stakeholders.

• Act as Product Owner for key private banking systems, with a strong focus on reporting, access management, and platform enablement.
• Support both Change the Bank (transformation, enhancements) and Run the Bank (stability, optimization) initiatives.
• Work closely with digital business transformation teams to drive modernization and process improvements.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable product backlogs and user stories.
• Partner with technology, operations, compliance, and business teams to ensure effective delivery.
• Manage priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines across complex initiatives.
• Serve as a key contributor to one of the bank’s critical applications used across Asia.
• Ensure solutions align with private banking regulations, controls, and best practices.

• Strong understanding of private banking domain, including systems and operational workflows.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager within banking or financial services.
• Solid understanding of banking systems, especially reporting and access-related platforms.
• Experience working on digital transformation programs.
• Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to engage deeply with IT and architecture teams.
• Equally strong business acumen to balance commercial and operational needs.
• Excellent communication skills; confident, assertive, and able to influence outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior and challenging stakeholders across regions.
• Experience working in or supporting Asia-based banking platforms is a strong advantage.
