Compliance Officer – Corporate Finance Firm

The Role

My client is a boutique corporate finance firm in Singapore holding a CMS licence, and they are looking to hire a Compliance Officer to take on a standalone compliance role.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all compliance and regulatory matters within the firm
• Oversee and manage AML/CFT controls, including client onboarding, KYC reviews, and ongoing monitoring
• Ensure adherence to Singapore regulatory requirements under the CMS framework
• Maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support regulatory reporting and liaise with relevant authorities when required
• Work closely with external compliance consultants on advisory, reviews, and framework enhancements
• Provide compliance guidance to internal stakeholders and support business initiatives from a regulatory perspective
• Assist with audits, reviews, and any compliance-related projects

• Approximately 4+ years of compliance experience within corporate finance, capital markets, or CMS-licensed environments
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements and AML/CFT standards
• Comfortable operating in a standalone capacity with support from external advisors
• Hands-on experience across both AML and broader regulatory compliance
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
• Proactive, independent, and adaptable in a lean team environment
