About the role
Become an English teacher at ‘English by Jen', a leading provider of English language education in the Central Region of Novena and Katong. This part-time role offers the opportunity to share your passion for the English language and help students of all ages develop their skills.
What you'll be doing- Develop and deliver engaging English language lessons to students of all ages and levels
- Create and implement effective teaching plans and materials to support student learning
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals
- Collaborate with the teaching team to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching methods
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills
- Degree in English, Education, NIE-trained, ex-MOE teachers
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English to primary school students
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans and teaching materials
- Passionate about education and committed to helping students achieve their full potential
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the students and the school
