Role Overview:

This role is central to shaping the future of community engagement across St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital (SAMH) and Singapore Anglican Community Services (SACS) -- otherwise refer to as the “Group” -- and St. Andrew’s Community Hospital (SACH) while working closely SAMH and SACS core pillars i.e. Medical, Senior, Psychiatric, and Autism to co-create sustainable outreach strategies.

You will also drive data-driven stakeholder and volunteer mapping, design governance frameworks, and develop systems that align with donor and communications efforts.

As the Manager/Assistant Manager, Community Relations & Social Partnerships, you will play a vital role in advancing St. Andrew’s Community Hospital’s (SACH) mission by strengthening volunteerism and building meaningful partnerships across the public, private, and people sectors.

You will report to the Head of Group-SACH Corporate Communications, and work alongside the team to develop strategic frameworks that integrate volunteerism, philanthropy, and communications into a cohesive and impactful model.

Through your leadership, community engagement will be elevated to a strategic level—anchored in policy, powered by data, and amplified through storytelling and media.

What Will You Do?

You will be part of the Group-SACH Corporate Communications Department, which oversees three pillars:

  • Corporate Communications
  • Donor Management & Philanthropy Development
  • Community Relations & Volunteer Management

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Counsel & Collaboration
  • Shape frameworks that align volunteerism with philanthropy and communications goals.
  • Drive stakeholder and volunteer mapping across SACH and Group.
  • Coordinate with service leads (Medical, Senior, Psychiatric, Autism) to co-design and/or support integrated initiatives that impact the Group.
  • Support the development of systems and dashboards for volunteer, donor, and community tracking. Volunteer & Partnership Development
  • Design and implement meaningful volunteer programs aligned to SACH’s care model.
  • Grow networks and work with schools, faith-based groups, grassroots, corporates, and NGOs.
  • Align volunteer efforts with donor and philanthropy initiatives for shared impact. Governance & Policy Shaping
  • Develop governance frameworks and SOPs for volunteer engagement at both SACH and Group
  • Lead the creation of a volunteer management system to track involvement and performance at both SACH and Group.
  • Formulate volunteer policies in alignment with organisational priorities and audit readiness at both SACH and Group Communications & Advocacy
  • Drive campaigns and narratives that promote inclusive volunteerism and community involvement.
  • Collaborate with the Comms team to produce content for digital, social media, and mainstream channels.
  • Document and showcase stories of impact to inspire support and participation. Resource Planning & Data Management
  • Identify training and development pathways for volunteers and staff involved in community work.
  • Manage and analyse data to report outcomes and inform decision-making.
  • Ensure effective deployment of volunteer and partner resources across programmes.

  • Media-Savvy: Skilled in storytelling, digital communications, and social media content.
  • Data-Literate: Confident in using data for reporting, analysis, and programme improvement.
  • Agile & Committed: Willing to work some evenings/weekends to support events and partnerships.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree, in any discipline
  2. At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  3. Personality traits: Highly motivated and self-driven with a positive can-do attitude
  4. You are someone who enjoys irregular hours from time to time such as evenings and/or weekends from time to time.
