We are representing our client, a global innovator in oncology and specialty medicine, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Real-World Evidence (RWE) Data Scientist to join its expanding post-approval analytics team. This is a 6-month renewable contract position with the potential to convert to full-time, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful research using real-world healthcare data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of RWE studies utilizing diverse data sources, including claims, electronic health records (EHRs), and patient registries.
  • Conduct exploratory data analyses to support feasibility assessments and refine study methodologies.
  • Collaborate in database development to ensure high-quality, analysis-ready data.
  • Independently produce robust analytical outputs using R, SQL, Python, or SAS.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance data workflows and analytics pipelines.
  • Contribute to the automation and standardization of data processing.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in RWD analytics and programming.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with real-world healthcare data.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages (R, SQL, Python, or SAS).
  • Familiarity with healthcare data sources and coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, NDC).
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Redshift, or Databricks is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Work Structure & Collaboration
  • Remote Work: This role is fully remote.
  • Team Environment: The candidate will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with colleagues based in the United States and China.
  • Time Zone Alignment: Candidates should be able to work primarily in Asia time zones, with availability for 1-2 one-hour meetings per week with the U.S.-based team.
  • Travel: Minimal travel is expected at this time.
