About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Murex Credit Risk Developer with strong expertise in MLC (Murex Limits Controller) and LAS API integration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing credit risk functionalities within the Murex platform, supporting critical risk management operations for a leading financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Murex Credit Risk solutions, specifically within MLC (Limits Controller).
- Implement and support LAS (Limit Approval System) API integrations.
- Configure and enhance credit risk workflows, limits monitoring, and exposure calculations.
- Collaborate with risk managers, business analysts, and front-office teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to credit risk and limits management.
- Ensure system stability, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and release management activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex, particularly in Credit Risk / MLC module.
- Proven experience working with LAS API integration.
- Solid understanding of credit risk concepts, including exposure, limits, and counterparty risk.
- Proficiency in Murex configuration, workflows, and data models.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Prior experience in banking or financial services.
- Exposure to other Murex modules (Market Risk, FO, BO) is a plus.
- Knowledge of integration frameworks and API-based architectures.
