Service Engineer (PLC/Automation Engineering) | $2,7k - $3,5k/ AWS/ North

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer (PLC/Automation Engineering) to join our team. This is a full-time role based in the North Region. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our clients' automation and control systems.

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of warehouse automation equipment such as AMR, ACR, AGV, and 4-Way Shuttle systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to planned schedules.
• Monitor daily equipment performance and ensure smooth system operation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and arrange replenishment when required.
• Support equipment upgrades and improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot PLC, sensor, conveyor, electrical, and mechanical system issues.
• Maintain maintenance records, repair logs, downtime reports, and spare parts usage records.
• Prepare monthly reports on equipment downtime, KPIs, spare parts inventory, and maintenance budgets.
• Generate service reports and technical documentation after maintenance activities.
• Assist in the implementation of new and ongoing automation projects.
• Support installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of automation systems
• Ensure project activities are completed according to schedule and project requirements.
• Track project progress, costs, timelines, and maintain project-related records.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and relevant stakeholders during project execution.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required by management.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Automation, or related qualification
• Relevant experience in maintenance, servicing, or engineering work
• Experience in troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, sensors, and PLC systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as industrial control systems
• Able to read simple technical drawings or work independently and handle urgent breakdown situations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment and go to site when needed.

• Basic salary up to $2,7k - $3,5k + Overtime + Allowance
