Job Description:

Our client is a fast-growing construction start-up committed to modernizing the industry through innovative practices and agile project delivery. As part of their expansion, they are looking for a proactive and driven Senior HR Associate to support core HR operations and help build a strong people-first culture.

As a Senior HR Executive, you will play a key role in the day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll support, and HR policy implementation. You will work closely with management to scale the team, improve HR systems, and contribute to a high-performing and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Coordinate and support talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, interviews, and offer processing.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle employee queries and provide HR-related support across departments.
  • Support payroll processing, leave administration, and benefits management in coordination with finance/payroll vendors.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures aligned with labor laws and company culture.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and training programs.
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for leadership review.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR operations role, preferably in construction/ engineering sectors, and ideally experience working in start-up environments.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with HR software and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and growth mindset.
