We are a fast-growing retail company dealing in daily essential products including canned food, rice, fresh fish, and meat. With multiple retail branches, we are committed to delivering quality and value to our customers across various neighborhoods.We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth, manage branch performance, and identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase market share and revenue
- Oversee operations and performance of all branches to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and retail expansion
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and store teams to ensure product availability and quality
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and KPIs to recommend improvements
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and key customers
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing branch management teams
- Prepare regular business reports for management review
- Proven experience in business development or retail operations, preferably in FMCG or grocery retail
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple outlets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
- Familiarity with supply chain, inventory, and merchandising in the retail sector
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant business software tools
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5.5 to 6-day work week, including weekends if required for branch visits
- Travel between branches required
