IT Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will collaborate with Product Managers, Operations users, and IT teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives, IT architecture, and security standards.

Requirements:

• Define and validate business/operational objectives for new requirements.
• Perform systematic business analysis and align requirements with business, operations, IT architecture, and security standards.
• Design functional solutions and user workflows, and document functional specifications.
• Conduct requirement and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders to obtain review and sign-off.
• Develop SIT/UAT/NRT scope and approach, guide the testing team in writing test scenarios, and review for stakeholder sign-off.
• Validate SIT test results and assist users in planning/executing UAT, analyzing defects, and prioritizing fixes.
• Document and review user manuals and release notes.
• Provide tactical/strategic solutions for new client requirements and support conversion/migration exercises.
• Perform functional analysis for production defects and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies and CIB ITO APAC standards/practices.
• Participate in technical design reviews to enhance overall solutions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 12–15 years of total experience, with 6–8 years as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in Trade Financing, Supply Chain Financing, Accounts Payable/Receivable, or related domains.
• Strong functional and business analysis skills, with the ability to bridge business/operations and IT.
• Experience in Supply Chain/Trade Finance/Electronic Invoicing applications is preferred.
• Familiarity with standard formats: XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022, and data transformations.
• Hands-on SQL knowledge and experience with functional solutions design for large web applications and microservices.
• Well-versed in integrations, APIs, REST, and designing solutions for high-volume, low-latency, high-availability web applications.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall SDLC in projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of security subjects: SSL/TLS, PKI, certificates, and user authentication solutions.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills in cross-cultural, cross-country environments.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to technical design reviews.
