Research Assistant (NIE-CRPP) - Choa Chu Kang
The National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University invites suitable applications for the position of Research Assistant on a 6-month (renewable) contract at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy & Practice. The research project intends to examine the effect of data literacy professional development on teachers’ outcomes, namely knowledge and beliefs.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related disciplines
- Good theoretical knowledge of research designs in general
- Preferably with working experience in research project and familiar with research methods
- Experience with conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Being a good team player
- A self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed
- Conduct participant recruitment and collect data
- Conduct literature scans to support research and perform research analysis
- Manage project-related administrative work
- Write/prepare research reports, publications and presentation materials independently
- Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from external institutions
- Other research and project management tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI)
