Customer Service Officer (Chinese Speaking)
About the role
HS GROUP is seeking a talented and dedicated Chinese Speaking Customer Service Officer (Cross Border Freight) to join our Customer Service Team in the Jurong East (near IMM) Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our Chinese Clients within the Sea and Air Cargo delivery and Cargo Forwarding industry.
What you'll be doing- Responding to China-based freight customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Processing and tracking sea and air freight shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery
- Coordinating with Drivers, warehouse and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns
- Replying to WhatsApp and enquiry from customer through the company's inhouse Customer Service Portal
- Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information in our systems
- Providing excellent customer service and fostering strong relationships with our clients
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or eCommerce online sales role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in the use of Mandarin and typing in Chinese is mandatory due to communications with China Freight Agents
- Proficiency in basic English and Malay Languages is preferred in order to communicate with Malay, Indians and Drivers of different races.
- A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance with industry regulations
