Warehouse assistant manager

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager with several years of warhousing experience.

• Supervise Daily Operations: Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and executing daily warehouse activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient processes.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of stock. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and maximize accuracy.
• Staff Management: Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and managing payroll-related activities. Assist in the recruitment and training of new employees.
• Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control procedures to maintain high standards in warehouse operations.
• Communication: Coordinate with other departments and vendors to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods, resolving any issues that arise.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, conducting regular safety drills and training for staff.
• Performance Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for operational enhancements.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is essential.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in inventory management software are crucial. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail are also important.
