Our client is a global speciality chemicals company recognised for its advanced phosphate-based solutions. It serves a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceuticals, and industrial applications with a strong emphasis on quality and innovation.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to set up the processes in Singapore and oversee operations locally.

about the job

Establish and maintain quality systems across all functional areas, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC22000, Halal, and Kosher standards; manage QM documentation, testing, release, and audits.
Plan and conduct internal, external, and supplier audits; ensure tolling partners meet material and process quality standards, including HACCP and relevant certifications.
Coordinate with qualified external labs for product testing and consistency checks; record analysis results, manage product releases, and issue Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
Handle product deviations and customer complaints through root cause analysis and CAPA; prepare quality agreements and drive continuous process improvements.
Collaborate with purchasing to qualify local raw materials and tolling partners; support localisation of products, regional supplier audits, and cross-functional decision-making in product development.

skills and experience required

bachelor's degree in chemical/analytic/science related field
min. 5 years of experience in food chemical manufacturing industry
familiarity with SAP system
proficiency in ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher standards
