Finance Accounting Analyst - Geylang

What you will do:

• Collaborate with commercial teams to deliver operational analysis and financial insights that inform business strategy.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning to keep us on track toward our goals.
• Drive month-end closing, financial reporting, and performance analysis to guide leadership decisions.
• Monitor costs, manage CAPEX, and strengthen profitability through smarter resource use.
• Oversee cash flow, receivables, and payables to keep the business running smoothly.
• Handle GST submissions, withholding tax reporting, and statutory audits with precision.
• Partner with auditors to meet local tax and Bursa Malaysia compliance requirements.
• Manage treasury operations, from cash flow to liquidity forecasting and risk management in partnership with shared services.
• Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with payment terms.
• Identify risks across tax, treasury, and financial controls — and design mitigation plans.
• Ensure all work adheres to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
• Assist on our ERP migration to Microsoft Dynamics for finance, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
• Harness automation and analytics tools like Power BI to elevate reporting.
• Identify process improvements and deliver solutions that save time, cut waste, and boost accuracy and lead or support ad-hoc financial projects assigned from time to time.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification such as CPA or CFA is an advantage.
• 5 years of experience in financial management, cost control, or a similar role, ideally in the FMCG sector. Less experienced candidates may be considered depending on the richness of their experience.
• Good command of accounting systems, with experience in SAP and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management preferred.
• Advanced Excel expertise, including financial modeling, plus strong PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Suite (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query) to analyze, automate, and optimize financial processes.
• Proven track record in ERP migration from planning through execution and system adoption. Experience in migration to Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Skilled in process improvement, automation, and driving efficiency gains.
