Desktop Support Engineer (Level 1) - Toa Payoh

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering first-level technical support across our desktop computing environment. You will ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations by resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues, following standard procedures, and maintaining strong communication with end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for desktop computers, applications, and peripheral devices
• Follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for technical support and change management
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of support activities and resolutions
• Handle user support requests and incident tickets via email and IT service management tools
• Support compliance and management of end-user computing devices, including asset tracking and security policy enforcement
• Process administrative documentation for IT hardware deployment, replacement, and disposal
• Generate and compile reports on IT support metrics and incident resolution status

Requirements:

• Experience Level: 1 year (Min)
• Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS and the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience using IT service management tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Zendesk)
• Basic understanding of IT security practices, data protection, and compliance standards
