Treasury Operations Executive

The Treasury Operations Executive will support cash management, payments, banking, and trade settlement activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. This role will work closely with Finance, commercial team, banks and counterparties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash positions, support cash flow forecasting and short-term liquidity management
• Process intercompany funding and settlements, and maintain complete treasury records, account documentation, and audit trails
• Support adherence to treasury policies, approval matrices, and internal control requirements
• Support month-end closing activities related to cash, bank, and settlement balances

• Process domestic and cross-border payments and perform bank reconciliations
• Liaise with banks on payment queries and ensure all transactions are properly authorised

• Process and confirm trade settlements for gas and energy transactions in accordance with contractual terms and settlement schedules
• Coordinate with counterparties to resolve settlement discrepancies, claims, or timing differences
• Prepare and maintain settlement reports and supporting documentation

• Generate customer invoices and process vendor invoices arising from trade and operational activities, ensuring proper approvals and documentations
• Monitor receivables linked to trade settlements, follow up on overdue items, and support ageing and reconciliation reporting
• Reconcile AP/AR balances related to treasury and trading activities in coordination with Finance

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or related field
• Minimally 2 years of experience in treasury operations or banking operations. Prior exposure to trade or commodity settlements is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and banking processes
• Familiarity with trade settlement processes, preferably in the energy or commodities sector
• Sound knowledge of AP/AR processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or treasury management systems (SAP B1 preferred)
• Possess good attention to details with strong organisational skills
• Good communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
