Business Development Executive

As Business Development Executive, you are responsible for identifying prospects, discovering their needs, matching those needs with the right products, and then helping them develop lifelong relationships with the Company. The opportunity involves a mix of managing the current businesses and finding new ones.
Your product knowledge combined with your communication skills, relationship building skills, entrepreneurship, influencing and analytical abilities shape how your existing and new businesses grow.
What will you deliver?- Assist in developing and executing sales activities to support both short-term and long-term revenue and margin growth.
- Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
- Conduct regular visits and calls with prospective and existing customers to strengthen relationships.
- Support the preparation of forecasts, sales performance reports, and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in onboarding new customer accounts by coordinating requirements with internal teams.
- Collaborate with suppliers on joint initiatives such as training, promotions, and customer visits.
- Review customer enquiries and RFQs, and coordinate with technical support where required.
- Monitor ongoing projects, track data and trends, and contribute to service performance reviews.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, tender submissions, and presentations as needed.
- Work with Marketing on initiatives such as case studies, exhibitions, and digital campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of Sales or Industrial Business development experience with a good flair of presentation skills.
- Market knowledge on Safety PPE and Industrial vending will be an added advantage
- Excellent customer service and customer relationship building skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and create effective business partnerships
- Ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills
- Understanding of financial concepts such as sales and margin
- Strong interest in building a career in business development and industrial distribution.
