Digital Marketing Specialist - Bukit Merah

Job Description:

inlingua School of Languages is seeking an experienced and creative Digital Marketing Specialist to take the lead on strategic marketing initiatives that elevate our brand positioning and drive student enrolment through innovative digital campaigns.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of digital expertise, strategic thinking and branding know-how, with a keen understanding of marketing nuances and target audience segmentation across cultures and platforms.

You will be instrumental in shaping the school’s digital presence, executing campaigns that span paid and owned channels, and improving the customer experience to resonate with learners and decision-makers alike. This role reports to the Managing Director and works closely with cross-functional teams across business development, corporate affairs, operations, and academic departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Marketing Strategy and Performance Marketing
  • Develop and implement holistic digital marketing strategies that elevate brand positioning, enhance awareness and drive demand for the school’s products and services.
  • Lead the planning, execution and management of SEM, SMM, email marketing and other paid campaigns across digital channels (including Google Ads and Meta Ads), ensuring alignment with budget, audience targeting, campaign timelines, and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronise campaign activities with key business priorities and enrolment cycles (e.g. Summer Intensives, new product launches, or market expansion initiatives).
  • Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaign performance metrics such as CPL, CTR, and ROI using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and CRM dashboards, and provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis, market research and trend monitoring to identify new opportunities, improve brand positioning, refine product and service offerings, and strengthen campaign outcomes.
  1. Branding, Messaging & Copywriting
  • Refine brand voice and positioning across digital touchpoints to ensure clear, consistent, and compelling messaging.
  • Write and edit copy for marketing campaigns, website, blogs, social media, and paid ads with attention to tone, clarity, and target audience nuance.
  • Ensure messaging is culturally sensitive, localised where appropriate, and resonates with international learners and diverse audiences (e.g. parents, adult learners, corporate clients).
  • Craft storytelling-driven content that supports thought leadership, emotional engagement, and conversion.
  1. Social Media, Content Management and Community Engagement
  • Plan, create, and manage platform-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other owned channels.
  • Drive engagement through timely, consistent posting schedules and interactive community management.
  • Develop audience-focused content strategies that reflect the school’s values and educational offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creatives to develop campaign visuals and multimedia assets.
  1. Website and Digital Platforms Management
  • Coordinate with web developers and enrolment teams to oversee website improvements and the integration of the schools’ digital platforms and CRM systems, ensuring seamless user journeys and enquiry handling.
  • Oversee website updates and SEO performance (keyword strategy, meta tags, image optimisation, etc.).
  • Create high-converting landing pages and content hubs tailored for lead generation and nurturing.
  • Stay abreast of digital trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation and improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in digital marketing, with proven track record in campaign management and lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of branding and marketing strategies, customer journey and experience, digital marketing principles, and industry best practices
  • Solid grasp of digital tools and platforms: Google Analytics, Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, CRM systems, SEO/SEM tools, email marketing tools, etc.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect digital actions to brand and business outcomes.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills; able to tailor messaging for different tones, objectives, and cultural contexts to target international markets and diverse audiences
  • Good visual literacy and experience in content creation and design platforms (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in education, training, or language schools is advantageous.
