Our client is a well-established multinational company in the electronics manufacturing sector, renowned for delivering high-quality solutions to global clients. They are currently seeking an Assistant/Purchasing Manager to join their esteemed organisation.

【 Responsibilities 】
  • Manage the Inflow and outflow of materials and report out
  • Manage and control raw material inventory level
  • Order Fulfilment and Managing Reschedules/Cancellation Purchase Orders.
  • Forecasting: Collaborate with other departments to forecast future inventory needs and plan accordingly.
  • IDM Price Monthly Update and VMI Program
  • PPV report review & update
  • Join QBR with strategic suppliers for business improvements.
  • Review Demand and Segmentation Reports
  • Managing supplier relationships, maintaining and developing positive business working relationships.
  • Compliance all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant legal regulations.
  • Oversee and train purchasing staff and manage the day-to-day operations of the purchasing department.
  • Working with internal Business Development and Program on the Customer's RFQ requirements and expectations.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

(Must)
  • Diploma in the electronics industry with relevant electronic product knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years of Working experience as an Assistant/ Purchasing Manager with managerial experience in the Electronics industry.
  • Possess Contract management and supplier relationship management skills
  • Understanding of electronic market dynamics and sound business judgement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office word, excel and PowerPoint.
(Advantageous)
  • Good problem-solving; ability to quickly address and resolve issues that arise in the purchasing process.
  • Familiar with Infor ERP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
