Resident Engineer (C&S)

Job Summary

This role is for PUB Sewer Project. The Resident Engineer (RE) for temporary works will be based on site to supervise pipe-jacking, tunnelling, and deep excavation works, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and protecting client interest.

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities full-time, including construction of temporary shafts, and pipe jacking works, ensuring compliance with approved plans and permits
• Apply expertise in pipe-jacking, tunnelling, and deep excavation to oversee construction execution aligned with contract specifications, bills of quantities, schedule of prices, and drawings
• Manage contractors’ work quality and progress by implementing quality control measures to ensure construction meets the highest standards and complies with Singapore regulations
• Maintain accurate and detailed project records, including daily construction reports and site diaries, to support project tracking and accountability
• Communicate project status and issues effectively to Qualified Person (QP), clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure transparency and alignment

• At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience in supervising tunneling and pipe jacking projects

• Experience in PUB sewer projects
• Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB or IES.
• Resident Engineer certification in Singapore.
• - Minimum 5 years of experience in construction environment, with a strong background in infrastructure projects.
• - In-depth knowledge of Singapore's construction regulations, codes, and practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
