Job Description
- Lead and manage the architectural team in the planning, design development and coordination of architectural works.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements, authorities’ regulations and design intent.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients to ensure smooth implementation of architectural works.
- Manage architectural design development, shop drawings and material submissions.
- Ensure architectural works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and site staff.
- Attend project meetings, technical discussions and coordination meetings with consultants and authorities where necessary.
- Monitor progress of architectural works and resolve design or technical issues during construction.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and authority requirements (BCA, URA, SCDF and other relevant authorities).
- Assist in project planning, budgeting and resource management for architectural works.
- Degree in Architecture or related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management.
- Experience in managing architectural works for commercial, residential or institutional projects.
- Strong knowledge of local building regulations and authority requirements in Singapore.
- Good coordination and communication skills with consultants, contractors and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or other architectural design software will be an advantage.
- Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
