Key responsibilities
- Run onboarding and orientation, explain policies, timetable and attendance.
- Provide frontline support on enquiries, study plans, deferment, transfer and withdrawal, escalating cases where needed.
- Monitor attendance and academic progress, flag at-risk students early, and arrange academic advising or teacher consultations.
- Coordinate referrals for welfare, housing, medical, counselling and financial assistance where applicable.
- Track and close tickets from email and helpdesk, keep case notes, and maintain accurate student records.
- Support fee, refund and documentation checks, and prepare evidence for internal reviews and audits.
- Gather student feedback, update FAQs, and propose service improvements.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in student services, academic support, admissions support or a closely related role.
- Outgoing and student-facing, comfortable meeting students in person and online.
- Clear written and verbal communication, able to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Strong service mindset with firm follow-through on policies, deadlines and confidentiality.
- Organised, meticulous and comfortable working cross-functionally.
