Lab Technician (3 Months) | Tuas | Up to $3000 | Mon-Fri #9398

• Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Salary: Up to $3000

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory tests, sampling, monitoring, analysis, and machining activities in accordance with approved technical procedures and authorized competency levels
• Conduct testing of routine and non-routine samples as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records of all laboratory work performed in compliance with internal documentation standards
• Ensure proper operation, routine maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment according to established schedules
• Immediately report equipment malfunctions, irregularities, or safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager
• Maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping to ensure a safe and compliant working environment
• Identify and highlight any unreliable, inconsistent, or inaccurate data to line managers promptly
• Organize and manage personal workload to meet daily testing targets and reporting timelines
• Execute administrative tasks related to laboratory operations in a timely and accurate manner
• Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and internal Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies
• Proactively identify and communicate any gaps in health and safety training or competency to management

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Chemistry or related field
• At least 1 year experience working in a laboratory or Oil/Gas industry environment
• Basic understanding of laboratory data management and record-keeping
• Familiarity with routine laboratory testing and analytical techniques
