Get to Know the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure maximum machine uptime and reliability through proactive troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment upgrades. Working closely with Operations and Production, you will drive continuous improvement in tool performance while maintaining rigorous safety and housekeeping standards.This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented approach to managing spare parts inventory and ensuring seamless workstation functionality.
Essential Responsibilities- Support, maintain and troubleshoot production machines to ensure consistent machines uptime
- Troubleshoot and perform quick equipment breakdown recovery, carry out corrective/preventive maintenance, upgrading, modification or improvement work
- Monitor equipment utilization
- Perform daily checking and inspection of equipment
- Prepare weekly equipment performance records
- Assist in carrying out continuous improvement projects
Skills and Competencies Profile
Required Qualifications:
- NITEC / Diploma in Engineering, fresh graduates may apply
- 1 – 2 years of related experience is an advantage
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Soft Skills:
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively across teams
- Willing to work in a 12-hour rotating day/night shift (4 working days/ 3 rest days/ 3 working days/ 4 rest days).
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
